Day 22; Çirali

A second day of cedar forests and around 700m of climbing though shorter than yesterday and I am looking forward to it.

My daily routine is set as I wake up, get packed, breakfast, walk, find accommodation, shower, find food and finally ascertain breakfast time for the next day's cycle. All the things I use daily are in one bag (toothbrush, phone charger,  medication, sun
cream, ...) most other things just stay packed.

The day starts by getting out of town and there are formal pomegranate plantations rather than just the odd tree here and there. I was given part of a pomegranate yesterday at a lunch stop and it did taste good.
I have left this photo in to show that sometimes you can't quite catch the view.
The scent of cedar fills the air.
The trail today is good fun and I'm feeling in good shape so I am surprised how tired I am at close of day.

I visit Olympus on the edge of Çirali with its ancient city ruins and by now I am starting to feel like an ancient ruin myself. Olympus the city was named after a nearby mountain which I'll mention when I get there. No photos as it was the end of the day and I was due to meet my host outside a supermarket in the centre of town. Actually, no photos as nothing stood out that would photo well. Lots of ruined walls of buildings so for once you got a better impression of a city and they are doing a lot of work on the Bishop's Palace.
